The Fat Lamb Hotel is situated close to the M6 motorway and makes a convenient stop over whilst en-route to Scotland. We also make a good base for visiting Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts at Vindolanda and Housesteads; the historic town of Carlisle with the cathedral, castle and Tullie House museum; and the rest of the border region.
