En Route Stopovers
Situated as we are in the middle of such excellent driving country, we are often visited by local car clubs or those staying nearby elsewhere, and make an excellent comfort break on your tour be it for morning coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea.
We have acted as checkpoint/lunchstop for a number of rallies including Rally of the Tests, Coast to Coast Classic and Wigton MC Cumbrian Canter. We can cater for groups of up to sixty at a time and have experience of hosting lunch breaks with competitors arriving on a staggered basis with limited time before getting back on the road.

I would just like to say that the 9 of us from The Austin Healey Club, Yorkshire thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Fat Lamb and were looked after very well by all the staff who had contact with us.
We enjoyed what was a lovely drive and excellent hospitality.

Thank you for the friendly welcome and great service we received last Sunday.
We had completed a long and very wet walk in Bowderdale and turned up at the pub hoping for refreshments. We were very well received and the hot tea and scones were just what we needed.
