The Fat Lamb is a popular destination for motoring enthusiasts of all kinds. Each year we welcome between 20 to 30 Car and Motorcycle Clubs both ancient and modern for weekend / midweek stays or refreshment stopovers, and many more individual riders or drivers who come to see the impressive collection of automobilia and retro collectables on display in the museum bar. As a keen owner/enthusiast myself with Austin Healey, Aston Martin, MG and Jaguar in the current fleet, I know and understand what similar owners are looking for.
We know how much work goes into planning a successful tour. To make things easier for your tour organiser, we offer a tour planning service which takes the hard work out of planning your clubs next residential tour, and provide first class facilities and excellent food for the duration of your stay. With good access into both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks plus equally scenic and much quieter areas such as the High Pennines, the Eden Valley, the Trough of Bowland – even the Scottish Borders, we are ideally situated to take advantage of some of Britain’s finest driving roads amid the spectacular scenery of our northern hills and dales.
I would just like to say that the 9 of us from The Austin Healey Club, Yorkshire thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Fat Lamb and were looked after very well by all the staff who had contact with us.
We enjoyed what was a lovely drive and excellent hospitality.

Thank you for the friendly welcome and great service we received last Sunday.
We had completed a long and very wet walk in Bowderdale and turned up at the pub hoping for refreshments. We were very well received and the hot tea and scones were just what we needed.
