Family room price quoted is an example only - other rates would apply depending upon the number and ages of children. We can accommodate up to three children in a room sharing with their parents. Please contact us for a price if you are unsure.
We are a dog friendly hotel, and we go to extra effort to ensure we maintain our high standard of housekeeping when dogs have visited. There is a £15 surcharge for 1 dog per stay (not per night), £10 per additional dog, to cover the cost of this - please check our guidelines if you wish to bring your dog.
Walkers, cyclists and bikers welcome. We have secure storage onsite for the duration of your stay - please ask for more details when booking.
Special rates are available for party bookings such as walking groups, family gatherings, club reunions or business hospitality, so please get in touch to enquire. We are also able to cater for wedding receptions, buffets and small conferences or meetings. I would just like to say that the 9 of us from The Austin Healey Club, Yorkshire thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Fat Lamb and were looked after very well by all the staff who had contact with us.
We enjoyed what was a lovely drive and excellent hospitality.

Thank you for the friendly welcome and great service we received last Sunday.
We had completed a long and very wet walk in Bowderdale and turned up at the pub hoping for refreshments. We were very well received and the hot tea and scones were just what we needed.
