Our Tour Planning Service
We have over fifty different routes from 50 to over 200 miles. Avoiding main roads wherever possible, we take you down quiet country lanes, over high passes and along spectacular sweeping moorland roads passing through picturesque villages and sleepy hamlets.
Prior to planning your own tour, we discuss your precise requirements with you to ascertain how far you like to travel in the day, what areas you would like to go and what you would like to see and visit en-route. Our aim is to provide a superb driving experience with plenty of interesting things to see and do along the way.
We build in morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea stops as required, liaising with them to ensure all goes smoothly. We also arrange visits to various places of interest - from National Trust Properties to Motor Museums or Steam Railway Centres to Boating Trips on the lake. In addition, as a memento of your tour, we can provide a personalised rally plate for a nominal cost of £3.50 per plate.
After discussing the above, we plan your route, draw up the route notes complete with comprehensive directions and tulip diagrams and do a reccie run out to iron out any glitches, before printing these off and handing them over on your arrival.
Finally, should problems occur we can offer full workshop facilities complete with four post lift to sort out any minor glitches and keep you all on the road to the end of the tour.
I would just like to say that the 9 of us from The Austin Healey Club, Yorkshire thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Fat Lamb and were looked after very well by all the staff who had contact with us.
We enjoyed what was a lovely drive and excellent hospitality.

Thank you for the friendly welcome and great service we received last Sunday.
We had completed a long and very wet walk in Bowderdale and turned up at the pub hoping for refreshments. We were very well received and the hot tea and scones were just what we needed.
