Eating at the Fat Lamb
The Fat Lamb has earned itself a well deserved reputation for its good food, all lovingly prepared and cooked on the premises by our own chefs - you won't find any ready made meals at the Fat Lamb. Fresh, locally sourced produce has been an important part of the way we’ve done business since well before it became trendy, and we’ve always been proud of the range of our menu. No gimmicks or elaborate arrangements, just generous portions of lovingly prepared, old fashioned home cooking.

Guests dining in our restaurant can choose from either the a-la-carte selection or our four course table d’hote menu, designed daily by our chefs to incorporate seasonal produce and the freshest local ingredients, and well complimented by our very respectable wine list. Alternatively, for a more informal dining experience, opt for the cosy bar with its open fire and extensive choice of delicious bar meal classics. We cater for a very wide range of tastes and budgets at the Fat Lamb, from quick and simple snacks to fantastic signature specials.

To top it all off, our daily changing specials board provides constant variety, and there is always a tempting selection of delicious homemade sweets and hot puddings available, or for the more savoury palate a good range of local cheeses.

We always have a good selection of vegetarian dishes, and can cater for a wide range of other dietary requirements – if you have any, please feel free to phone in advance and we’ll do best to make sure we’ve got something on the menu which agrees with you.
